Our custom milling services transform locally raised wool into beautifully spun yarns and skeins
Whether you’re a shepherd, fiber artist, or small farm, we honor the individuality of every fleece. From washing and carding to spinning and finishing, our team works by hand and heart to produce yarn that reflects the natural beauty of our islands.

Here is our milling policy:
PRICING
All pricing based on incoming weight, price is per pound. Includes washing and picking.

Carding: $25​
- We'll card it into roving bumps or cloud, your choice.

SPIN IT UP!
Spinning services based on incoming weight, per pound. Includes washing, picking, and carding. If your fiber does not hold together to the roving deck we will process into cloud. At this time we are not able to make 100% Alpaca yarn. We must blend with merino at 25%.

Core spun: $29/lb​
- Your fiber spun around a cotton core yarn. This creates an extra bulky yarn perfect for rugs. 1 lb of fiber creates about 30 yards of core spun. We no longer accept alpaca seconds for core spun.

Bulky yarn: $36/lb​
- Steamed and coned included in pricing.
Worsted yarn: $38/lb​
- Steamed and coned included in price.

DK yarn: $40/lb​
- Steamed and coned included in price

Sport weight yarn:$42/lb​

Fingering weight yarn: $44/lb​
